We are a dynamic, spirit-filled, biblically grounded house of refuge, restoration, and revival; equipping young and old alike to fulfill the work of the Kingdom with joy.

To be a place that welcomes and intentionally seeks the broken, outcast, oppressed, enslaved, disenfranchised, and hurting because of their separation from God. For greater is ahead for us, as we continue moving forward in faith, strength, and victory to receive the fulfillment of every promise God has made to us.

We are committed to empowering disciples to faith in Christ, embracing family values, and equipping disciples for spirit filled leadership and living.

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

 

Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church is a great ambassador of Christian faith. Since 1907, she has been a beacon of light, shining brightly, and bringing hope to weary souls in search of truth.

 

The hands of God have worked mightily within this congregation to bring Bethel from its humble beginnings, to its historic accomplishments of this present age. Our congregation is full of gifted, committed, energetic, and spiritual disciples, who continue to bear witness to God’s love through a spirited worship experience, a nurturing fellowship, an effective teaching ministry, and many outreach initiatives that continue to transform lives in the Tampa Bay community and around the world.

 

This church consist of a diverse demonstration of spiritual gifts. Here, disciples are encouraged the live out their faith. The various ministries of this church are Christ-centered and people-oriented, with the global purpose to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we are in the process of developing new ministries, to meet the needs of our congregation and the community as well as challenge us to be effective agents of Christian service in a changing world.

 

These are exciting times to be a member of this church. You and I are blessed to be alive and active at a time when new standards of the Church are emerging every day. Today, we are called to this shared work of proclaiming the good news of our Lord at a time when people are in search of genuine worship and service. We seek only to be God’s servants as agents changing lives to love our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.

 

Bethel AMEC is the place where God wants to use you for His glory. Remain faithful the Work of Ministry for the best is yet to come!
